Remembrance Day November 11, 2015, Burlington, Canada

Posted November 11, 2015

On November 11th at 11:00 a.m., Canadians from coast to coast pause to remember and reflect upon the sacrifices made by the men and women who have served this country in the armed forces and on home service.  In Burlington, Ontario, hundreds assembled around the cenotaph to participate in the commemorative service, to pay our respects to the fallen, and to thank those who have served.  This is a practice repeated at many cenotaphs and memorials across Canada, as well as, in many other countries around the world.

Lest We Forget.

The CSMMI held a commanding position in the centre foyer opposite the main entrance. Comprised of two tables with labeled displays of medals, badges and insignia, the CSMMI approached this event as an opportunity to inform the public about our hobby, promote the upcoming CSMMI shows, and provide information about membership with the CSMMI. CSMMI President Bryan Patterson set up the exhibit and was present throughout the day to answer questions and promote the CSMMI. The CSMMI thank Bryan Patterson, Rudy Sauro, Terry Wallace, and Lawrence Stasiuk to providing materials for this exhibit. To read the printed displays, click here.
