Today, the CSMMI Executive announces that the remaining monthly meetings and shows originally schedule for September, October and November 2020 are cancelled.
The CSMMI Executive has been monitoring the developments of COVID-19 in Ontario and were encouraged with the news that Burlington, Ontario has entered Stage 3 of its slow re-opening of its economy. The CSMMI has engaged in talks with the City of Burlington about the re-opening of our monthly shows and meetings. However, as safety of our members, our vendors and our guests is the top priority, it was decided to cancel the remaining shows scheduled for September, October and November 2020.
The CSMMI is working closely with the City and vendors to develop an acceptable plan to allow the safe re-opening and staging of our monthly shows and meetings beginning on Sunday, January 17, 2021. A new schedule of event dates will be published for 2021 and will be released later this fall. Updates will be posted on this website and on the CSMMI Facebook site.
The CSMMI regrets any inconvenience as a result of this decision and thanks everyone for their understanding and co-operation as we work through the details of our re-opening. We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2021.
